Here is our story...

1966
WORLD CUP FINAL

The 1966 FIFA World Cup, the eighth staging of the World Cup, was held in England from 11 to 30 July.

The 1966 FIFA World Cup, the eighth staging of the World Cup, was held in England from 11 to 30 July. England beat West Germany 4–2 in the final, winning the Jules Rimet Trophy.

With this victory, England won their first FIFA World Cup title and became the third World Cup host to win the tournament after Uruguay in 1930 and Italy in 1934.

1969
FIRST TEAM MEMBER IS BORN

One of our best team members, always the first one in the office and the last one leave.

Steve Kerbey started working for MMUK in January 2016 after spending 20 years in the motor trade. He previously worked for VW & Audi and then spent 13 years at a BMW dealership in London as a Sales Manager.

Steve understands the daily routine of a dealership and the issues that you come across and has many years’ experience dealing and speaking with a sales team and customers.

EUROPEAN CUP WINNERS FINAL

The 1972 European Cup Winners' Cup Final was a football match between Scottish team Rangers and Soviet team Dynamo Moscow.

The 1972 European Cup Winners' Cup Final was a football match between Scottish team Rangers and Soviet team Dynamo Moscow. It took place at the Camp Nou in Barcelona on 24 May 1972 in front of a crowd of 24,701.

It was the final of the 1971–72 European Cup Winners' Cup, one of three football competitions run by UEFA at the time.

 

1976
FA CUP FINAL

The 1976 FA cup final saw Southampton take the win against Manchester United.

The 1976 FA Cup Final took place on 1 May 1976 at Wembley Stadium. It was contested between Manchester United and Southampton.

United had finished third in the First Division that season, and were strong favourites, while unfancied Southampton had finished sixth in the Second Division.

In one of the biggest shocks in the history of the final, Southampton won 1–0 through an 83rd-minute goal from Bobby Stokes. It was the first time Southampton won a major trophy.

1980
MOTOR MARKETING FOUNDER IS BORN

Ewan Wilson PgC, FIMI, set up Motor Marketing upon his return from working in South Africa, with a desire to help support businesses in retaining customers and generating more leads while being able to demonstrate a clear ROI for all projects.

An Automotive Industry expert with experience on both OEM and Retail side, having latterly spent time running dealerships in London and Johannesburg.

 

1996
SCOTLAND LAST QUALIFIED FOR MAJOR CHAMPIONSHIP

Brown successfully guided Scotland to the 1996 European Championship tournament, in second place behind Russia.

The first game of the tournament against the Netherlands ended 0–0, raising morale ahead of a much-anticipated game against rivals England at Wembley Stadium. Gary McAllister missed a penalty kick and a goal by Paul Gascoigne led to a 2–0 defeat.

 

2014
MOTOR MARKETING FORMED

2014 saw the beginning of Motor Marketing UK's operations.

With a passion for delivering results, generating new business and retaining existing clients, Motor Marketing was conceived to help businesses do just that. Fast forward a few years and our results speak for themselves as new and existing partners continue to seek us out to help them in achieving their objectives.

2016
MOTOR MARKETING EVENTS IS FORMED

In 2016 Motor Marketing branched out into the Motoring events sector.

Motor Marketing events (MME) was formed with Mike Legge of ECR Training in 2016.  Another Industry expert who has created and delivered countless volumes of valuable material over the years for various brands.

MME provides training and event solutions, focusing in Sales, Aftersales, Finance and Leadership. Again, our model in this business is to be able to deliver results and demonstrate significant ROI for all clients.

 

2017
WE MOVED TO OUR NEW OFFICE

In 2017 Motor Marketing moved to it's brand new office space based in Portsmouth.

2017 saw the growth of Motor Marketing and quickly required more space for operations. In this year we settled at the lovely lakeside offices in Portsmouth north harbour.
With a great working atmosphere, amazing staff and beautiful scenery, we here at motor marketing find ourselves in the perfect working environment.

Over 20 years experience in the Automotive industry within both OEM and Retail, latterly as Dealer Principal.

Steve Kerbey

Business Development

Over 20 years Automotive Sales Management experience. Steve is responsible for day to day operations, client management and the call centre. An avid Southampton fan who loves his dogs.

Michala Harvey

Aftersales

Over 15 years Automotive Aftersales experience. Michala is responsible for the delivery of Aftersales programmes to our clients.

David Dunlop

Creative Director

As creative Director David oversees anything and everything which involves design or development. When he is not in the office he is out meeting clients or shooting videos on location.

Lisa Dunlop

Videographer

Lisa is the one who pulls it all together, capturing the content and producing the video material for our clients.
